In the UK and Ireland, Father's Day is the third Sunday of June. Dads rarely admit they are waiting for a card, but plenty keep them for years in a drawer or on the fridge. The motif that works is the one from his everyday life: the barbecue in the garden, a well-used toolbox, his football team or the old car that starts on the second try.

Funny Father's Day card: ideas

Describe the funny picture in one sentence and type the caption in the text field. A few ideas to start with:

Father's Day card from a grown-up child or a little one

From an adult son or daughter, a calm retro style suits well: a dark background, simple lettering, a classic car or an old radio. The message can be more personal, thanking him for one specific thing.

From a young child, a bright illustration and a short line in their own words work better. Leave a blank panel on the back for a signature or a drawing. The same card works for a grandad or a stepdad: just change the greeting.
